[Urban Legends]
It was unnerving. Strange lights had appeared over the old dilapidated factories and offices in Maiami and Domino one night, with a strange humming. Those living nearby had soon found the places had been bought. Cleaned up seemingly overnight, and put into order under some unknown administration. But no one had seen who had entered. Who had bought the location and redubbed it as "Amahara Heavy Industries".
All the came in was equipment, parts, oil, machinery, but the drivers were unseen, as were the workers. In and out. In and out. As if the entire place had been brought back to life under its own will, its own power. Or was it aliens? Time travelers? None could say, the premises remained quiet, and barred entry to everyone. No. Not everyone, ultimately.
A young blonde woman. Or at least something that seemed like a young blonde woman. Was seen irregularly entering and exiting the premises. There was something about her that struck everyone who saw her as a girl. A lady. Out of time. As if she didn't belong in this era.
The fact there were signs "We mean you no harm" around the locations did nothing to help either. That was way too suspicious.
If they did mean well, it was a problem for Amahara, as they had no clue how to not seem suspicious.

I think I need some sort of... practice in communicating with humans.

I keep being told I'm "off".
Or human people start trying to back away from me.

You do have the admitted bias of personally knowing me, so my idiosyncrasies are normal for you, Aegis.
I think there might be something. Eerie. About myself?

Which is expected for me, but maybe it's not super expected for humans?

And how would I go about correcting this.
... As I mostly fear going too far in the opposite direction.

I guess try to pay attention to how the other person's talking, and try to imitate it a little?

Hrm, I think I found something.

How does like, ya know, this sound, like, wow Aegis.
Does like, ya know, this make me sound less stiff and more totally easy to talk to, oh my gawd?

Sometimes I enjoy being 'off' to humans. Their reactions are priceless.

I suppose there is... humor to it. But not when I'm trying to create... relations with this land.
