So, the exile of Makai, the scion of Hyperborea and I were visited by a pair of dragon whelps the other day, and unusually, they asked us to convey a letter to the government about better treatment of the Spirits' rights in Domino.

"Or Else".

It's those last two words that concern me.

Did they... specifically list grievances? Usually SAI handles a lot of that, but if it's a threat, then obviously we need to be worried about it...

Duel Spirits not being respected by the Japanese Government.

I think the lack of actual diplomatic buildings and the three of us using... lemonade stands.

They also seemed confused that I was not Ra.

What's your read on the situation, yourself?

Hrm.

Of what I know, this group, the Divine Dragons, are something of "a court without a country". Powerful if they ever had any base under them. A bunch of rumors connecting them to the mythical Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the A-to-Z machine series, but nothing concrete.

The best comparison in your terms would be Emperor Norton of the United States of America, perhaps, a bit more in the Ritz.

I'd like to think the 'Or Else' is mostly harmless bluster, but considering the records of what's gone on in this city and Japan more broadly...

Ugh, sounds enough like potential trouble that we should keep an eye out, huh.

I mean, wanting more respect for spirits isn't a bad thing. But all things considered, we're still sorta in the infancy of people acknowledging that spirits aren't going away. And even then, it's still just mostly in the Greater Domino Area.

Yes.

I personally cannot comprehend it being a concept of light and sun and good, but humans seem very scared, and the Witch of Chaos and her brood as well as I, as unlikely allies, as well as the Children of the Midnight Sun, are trying to make appeals that there is a worthy future.

I'd hate for it to be pushed back.

... How do you feel about Spirits being here, Child of Spirits of the Primal Wild.

I think they're fine?

Like yeah, at first, it was sorta a shock. But I've gotten pretty used to it overall, and it's not like it was weird or anything, as someone who could just control wind since as long as I could remember.

Hrm, I suppose the question then, is how do more 'normal' people seem to be taking it.

Something tells me there's less... 'this isn't weird' among people not such as yourself.
